Makena is located on the southwestern shores of Maui, just south of Wailea. Makena Beach is also known as “Big Beach.”
Maui’s best beach stretches 2/3 miles long and is 100 yards wide. Makena Beach is located between two black lava outcroppings protecting it from the trade winds. This secluded beach offers amazing views!
