New Luxury Resort Openings in Mexico & the Caribbean for 2027

New Luxury Resort Openings in Mexico & the Caribbean for 2027

An overwater bungalow in Belize, a beachfront villa in the Bahamas, or a room overlooking Grace Bay. If you’re thinking about a special getaway, these upcoming resorts might give you a few new destinations to consider.

We’re so excited for these luxury openings across Mexico and the Caribbean, with new properties from Andaz, Four Seasons, Banyan Tree, and Nobu expected in 2027. Let’s take a look at these exciting new properties!

Andaz Turks and Caicos Grace Bay rendering

Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos | Expected April 2027

We have been waiting for this one! Originally scheduled for a 2026 opening, we can now book your stay here starting April 1, 2027. Andaz Turks & Caicos sits directly on Grace Bay, with its white sand and clear turquoise water just steps away.

The property will have 59 hotel rooms plus residences, giving it a smaller boutique feel compared to your larger beach resorts. We’re interested in this one for travelers who appreciate great design and want a beachfront setting without choosing a sprawling resort. It could be a beautiful option for a honeymoon, anniversary, or a few days away together.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Caye Chapel

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Caye Chapel

Caye Chapel, Belize | Expected 2027

Four Seasons is coming to a private island in Belize, and the plans include overwater bungalows. We’re so excited about this one!

The resort is expected to offer oceanfront suites, a beach club, multiple dining options, and a spa, with access to the marine environment that makes Belize such a special destination. For travelers who want time on the water along with a luxury resort experience, this could be an exciting alternative to a traditional beach vacation.

We’re especially interested in seeing how the private-island setting comes together with Four Seasons service! Sounds absolutely perfect.

Banyan Tree Bimini Resort & Residences

Banyan Tree Bimini Resort & Residences

Bimini, Bahamas | Reported 2027 target; opening date to be confirmed

If an overwater bungalow is on your wish list, Banyan Tree Bimini is another resort to keep an eye on. Bimini is also super close to South Florida, with options to arrive by a short flight, seaplane, or ferry from Fort Lauderdale. The resort will feature 24 beachfront villas and 26 overwater bungalows, along with private waterfront residences.

The development will also feature Bonito Beach Club, with dining and spaces to spend the day by the water. The smaller number of resort accommodations and emphasis on privacy make this one perfect for a honeymoon or romantic getaway.

Nobu Beach Inn

Nobu Beach Inn

Barbuda | Expected late 2027

Nobu Beach Inn is taking shape on Princess Diana Beach in Barbuda, with plans for just 36 bedrooms across 17 villas.

Along with Nobu dining, announced amenities include an oceanfront pool, indoor and outdoor spa spaces, tennis and padel courts, a kids club, and an outdoor cinema. The appeal here is the combination of a small beachfront property and plenty to enjoy without needing a packed itinerary.

For travelers who choose their vacations around good food, a beautiful beach, and a quieter setting, this is one to watch. Nobu currently lists construction completion for 2027, with recent reports pointing to a late-year grand opening.

Looking Ahead to 2028

Conrad Los Cabos, Mexico

Conrad Los Cabos, Mexico

Conrad Los Cabos will bring architecture inspired by Baja’s desert landscape to the OLEADA Pacific Living & Golf community. Plans include rooms and suites with private plunge pools, along with larger residences.

Originally announced for 2027, a later Hilton update places the opening in 2028. We’ll be watching as more details become available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these new luxury resorts all-inclusive?

Luxury doesn’t always mean all-inclusive. Inclusions vary by resort and rate, so we can help you confirm what’s covered, from meals and drinks to airport transfers and activities.

Can I book these resorts before they open?

Some upcoming resorts accept reservations before opening, while others haven’t released availability yet. Contact Enchanted Travel to check your preferred resort and travel dates.

Should I visit a resort right after it opens?

Being among the first guests can be exciting, but new resorts sometimes open in phases. If a particular restaurant, spa, or room category is important to you, we recommend confirming its availability before booking. Giving a resort a few months to settle in may also be worth considering.

Are these resorts good for families or just couples?

The right fit depends on the resort, room options, and ages of your travelers. Some luxury properties offer family accommodations and children’s programming, while others are better suited to a quieter couples getaway. Our team can help you compare.
