25 Apr Our Favorite Maui Restaurants
Find something for everyone on this list of our favorite Maui restaurants! If you are visiting the island of Maui, sampling at least one of these eateries is a must. Here are our faves, listed in no particular order.
1. Paia Fish Market – Paia
Paia Fish Market tops off our list of the best Maui restaurants. This gem is located just off the Road to Hana. It is a great place to dine in – try the fish tacos – or to buy fresh seafood & cook yourself if you have access to a kitchen. Reasonably priced. Favored by tourists and surfers.
2. Cafe Mambo – Paia
Cafe Mambo is an open-air eatery with eclectic dishes and funky surfer vibes. The restaurant, bar and cafe is so popular that additional locations have opened in NYC and the Hamptons. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus feature upscale items with reasonable prices. We think the Kalua Duck Quesadillas sound delicious, but if you want something a little more “safe”, try the Classic BLT.
3. Cafe des Amis – Paia
Cafe des Amis is an Indian-Mediterranean fusion eatery serving dishes like savory and sweet crepe options (including these tofu and spinach crepes, pictured above), salads, and indian curries. Open for breakfast & brunch only.
4. Polli’s Mexican Restaurant – Makawao
Polli’s is a great place for Mexican food on the islands – one of the only options in all of Hawaii worth trying, according to locals. Affordable traditional Mexican dishes like shrimp fajitas and quesadillas served in relaxed atmosphere.
