If you’re planning an all-inclusive Bahamas trip, you’ll find options for every type of traveler. We rounded up some of our favorites below! Plus, we’ve included some of our favorite things to do when you visit the Bahamas.

The Best All-Inclusive Resorts in the Bahamas

Sandals Emerald Bay

Let’s start with this one that our agents recently loved! Sandals Emerald Bay is located on Great Exuma Island in the Bahamas. This luxurious, secluded property offers a wide range of activities for guests and is adults-only.

It has one of the most gorgeous 18-hole golf courses in the Caribbean, for starters. Guests of the resort pay just $120 for carts and clubs. They provide very nice golf clubs so do not worry about bringing your own! We also love that this course is located directly on the property.

In addition to a marina village with a 133-slip marina, Sandals Emerald Bay boasts three pools, a state-of-the-art spa, and unlimited land and water sports, including kayaking, paddle boarding, scuba diving, and beach volleyball.

All of the rooms here have an ocean view, but talk to your Enchanted Travel Advisor about upgrading to a beachfront room for an even better and more direct view.

The property has gorgeous grounds throughout, a very private beach, and is perfect for exploring nearby coral reefs or simply enjoying the powdery white sand. Our agents loved visiting the nearby Grand Isle Resort for dinners off-property. Here you’ll find two amazing restaurants, 23 North and Palapa, offering unforgettable dining experiences near some of the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas.

Guests can enjoy two gorgeous pools, one with a great swim-up bar, and a private beach with seaside hammocks. There are a variety of restaurants with stellar food and tons of water sports.

Sandals Royal Bahamian - Bahamas

Sandals Royal Bahamian

With newly updated rooms (renovated in 2022), 10 restaurants, and access to a private offshore island, Sandals Royal Bahamian is a truly unique all-inclusive experience. While Sandals properties are known for being adults only, there are also family-friendly all-inclusive resorts Bahamas that offer options for those traveling with children (just ask us for recommendations!).

Book a swim-up suite for a super-luxurious stay, including butler service and VIP airport transfers in a Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Benz.

What to do in the Bahamas

There are tons of amazing activities to venture out to during your stay in the Bahamas! While all three of the all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas mentioned above have tons of watersports, restaurants, pools, beaches, spas, and more to keep you busy, you don’t want to miss out on what the rest of the area has to offer! If you’re planning to island-hop, St Thomas (a U.S. Virgin Island) is another Caribbean destination often compared to the Bahamas for its beautiful beaches and vibrant culture.

Visit Pig Beach

The famed Bahamas’ beach pigs live on Big Major Cay. You can get there by chartering a boat or taking a guided tour. Our agents loved visiting Pig Beach during their recent trip!

Book a Private Boat Tour for a chance to see powdery white sand beaches, blue waters, and coral reefs perfect for snorkeling. Our agents used Robert’s Island Adventures to book their private boat tour excursion. The entire boating day was smooth from start to finish, and we would recommend this company to anyone visiting the Bahamas.

Besides visiting Pig Beach, our agents also snorkeled through caves, swam with sea turtles, and visited Iguana Island. You’ll find that private boat tours allow guests to hop between many tiny islands, each with their own unique white sand beaches and reefs.

Book a Private Boat Tour

Our agents used Robert’s Island Adventures to book their private boat tour excursion. The entire boating day was smooth from start to finish and we would recommend this company to anyone visiting the Bahamas.

Besides visiting Pig Beach, our agents also snorkeled through caves, swam with sea turtles, and visited Iguana Island. You can tailor your boat tour itinerary with whatever you want to do – this company is very accommodating!

Booking your own private boat tour is also a great way to see all of the tiny little islands that make up the Bahamas. Our agents paid about $1100 with tax to rent the boat for the about 4.5 hours.

Golf

There are a ton of gorgeous golf courses throughout the Bahamas. Our agents loved playing at the course on Sandals Emerald Bay, and even the non-golfers had to visit the course just to see the amazing views!

Swim with Sharks at Compass Cay

Adventure seekers will love swimming with nurse sharks at Compass Cay, just another unforgettable family-friendly or adults-only adventure! These gentle creatures are accustomed to human interaction, making for an exciting (yet safe) encounter.

Day Trip to Harbour Island & Pink Sand Beach

Take a ferry or private boat tour to Harbour Island for its famous Pink Sands Beach, one of the most Instagram-worthy destinations in the Bahamas. The unique pink-hued sand and crystal-clear waters make this one of the most beautiful and romantic spots in the Bahamas.

Go Deep-Sea Fishing

The Bahamas is world-famous for deep-sea fishing, with charters available from most all-inclusive hotels in the Bahamas. Anglers can catch marlin, tuna, mahi-mahi, and more.

Best Time to Visit the Bahamas

While the Bahamas is a year-round destination, the best time to visit depends on your travel preferences. Peak season runs from December to April, but the months from June to November are part of the off season, which is quieter and budget-friendly. Just keep in mind it’s also hurricane season. For those looking for a similar island vibe, St Thomas is also delightful nearly year-round.
