Millennials are Opting for Travel Agent Services over DIY
While Millennials these days seem to basically live online, there’s one online service that isn’t making the cut: travel planning. The main reasons for this trend include better deals, payment plans, and recommendations based off of personal experiences. According to a recent study by the American Society of Travel Agents, the percentage of travelers who booked through a travel agent increased by 14% in 2016. “Doing it yourself is a huge time commitment, and I really don’t think you get all your questions answered by just Googling or checking Trip Advisor,” states millennial Chris Mathis.

Travel is Trending in Home Decor Inspiration
Whether it’s hanging photographs from a memorable vacation or finding a piece of art in the perfect shade of Caribbean blue, travel is serving as a huge inspiration in modern home decor. Use items to help evoke the same feelings that were experienced in a particular place, including textures and color palettes unique to the country or region. “I love pieces that make a subtle nod to another place or memory — a bicycle bookend that reminds you of riding by the shore, for example, or a pillow that reminds you of the color of a certain lake or sea,” says Danielle Whitburn, a freelance writer for Home-Designing.com

Lufthansa to Automatically Complete Check-in Process for Passengers
Following Delta’s groundbreaking news of automatically checking passengers in through their mobile app, Lufthansa is now onboard with the seamless process! Passengers are now able to forego early morning wake up calls thanks to this new process, as they will now receive their boarding passes via email or text approximately 23 hours prior to their flight departure time.
