Our travel advisor Krete spent last weekend with Marival Resorts, touring their properties in Punta Mita & Nuevo Vallarta. He was also able to see a few other closeby properties which we will touch on in another post!
Nuevo Vallarta and Punta Mita are located just north of Puerto Vallarta on Banderas Bay. Krete stayed at Marival Armony in Punta Mita, so he got to explore this property quite a bit. He also toured and spent time at Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct Luxury Residences in Nuevo Vallarta.

Marival Resorts Punta de Mita & Nuevo Vallarta
Marival Armony
Krete spent three nights at Marival Armony Luxury Resorts & Suites in Punta Mita. This adults-only, all-inclusive property is the perfect place to relax. It is sheltered by the lush Sierra Madre mountains on one side and the Punta Mita coastline on the other. This resort has four restaurants and four bars with a large selection of dishes and stunning views.
Krete and his group ate at Divum during their stay. This is a unique dining experience with amazing ocean views as well as high signature cuisine. It is located at the very top of the Marival Armony. Divum offers signature dining and mixology inspired by local ingredients and regional flavors. Divum is open for dinner only and requires reservations.
Marival Emotions & Marival Distinct
On the second evening of the trip, Krete and his group departed Marival Armony for a site tour at Marival Emotions & Marival Distinct, followed by cocktails and dinner. Marival Emotions and Marival Distinct are located next to each other on Banderas Bay in Nuevo Vallarta.
Marival Emotions
The Marival Emotions Resort & Suites property is the first all-inclusive family resort in Nuevo Vallarta. So, unlike Armony, this property allows children under the age of 18. You’ll find a daily schedule full of lively events for guests ages 2 and older! Daytime activities include pool aerobics, beach volleyball tournaments, kayak races, and pottery painting – just to name a few! In the evening, enjoy a theatre production or dance the night away at the weekly beach party or Mexican fiesta. This property also boasts six restaurants and seven bars. You can be sure to please the taste buds of even the pickiest member of the family!
Marival Distinct
Marival Distinct Luxury Residences is described as the crown of the Marival Resorts collection. This property is also family-friendly and offers spacious residences with one to four bedrooms. Every single residence has unbeatable luxury and comfort, high-end appliances, fine furniture, and marble bathrooms – the list goes on! The penthouses need a special mention here as they have an immersion pool on their very own private terrace. The three-bedroom villas are also notable and offer the utmost privacy as they are homes in themselves. They have their own patio and private pool. You’ll also love the five restaurants that are all part of the all-inclusive plan at Marival Distinct.
